Edessa is a fabulous and authentic Retro era 14k yellow gold, amethyst and diamond cocktail ring. Designed in the 1940's, this delightful ring features a prong-set Oval Mixed Cut natural amethyst gauged at approximately 5.00cts in weight. The ring is further enveloped by a bright and brilliant halo of sixteen Round Full Cut diamonds with an additional six diamonds encrusted into the shoulders totaling approximately 1.35ct in combined weight, graded F-G color and VS/SI clarity. The foliage pattern along both shoulders adds a romantic and whimsical quality to this beautiful vintage piece. Edessa is finished with a 14k yellow gold shank enhanced with a medium polish to the metal.
